The structure of CIRCA

Founded in 1981, CIRCA Art Magazine Limited is a not-for-profit company incorporated in Northern Ireland.

The magazine's longer-term goals and procedures are the responsibility of the CIRCA Board, whose membership changes regularly. Board membership is by invitation. Conten issues are decided with the assistance of the Editorial Advisory Panel.

CIRCA also has a panel of Contributing Editors at various points around Ireland and beyond. Their job is to keep an eye on local activities and to suggest articles and reviews. The Editor polls their opinions at intervals.

CIRCA is financed through three main sources: the Arts Councils, north and south; sales and subscriptions; and advertising.
