Brennan starts at Project (September 4, 2000)

As Director of Talks and Critical Events, Tim Brennan takes up a new post today in the recently re-opened Project, alongside Visual Arts Director Valerie Connor. Brennan thus moves from Arthouse, where he has been Artistic Director for the last nine months. His CV lists study of Fine Art at the Slade and an MA in Public History and Historiography from Oxford University; he has lectured in Performance Art at Dartington College of Arts and been co-ordinator of the MA in Creative Curating at Goldsmiths.

At Project he "will initiate and develop an ongoing proramme of discursive events - debates, talks, lectures, artistic interventions and other forums - which will reflect and impact on the relationship between art, culture and society in Ireland and internationally," according to the press release.
