Artists / Ireland - can you help? (Wednesday
16 March 2005)
You may already be familiar with our artists
database, called 'Artists / Ireland' (click here
to see it if not). It's intention is to be as comprehensive
as possible in tracking websites that contain information about
artists in Ireland, from Ireland or somehow associated with
Ireland.
We have been trying to make this database
searchable by keyword, so that you couild, for example, locate
all performance artists working on issues of gender or all painters
in acrylics who have a semi-abstract style. But it's a daunting
task.
Any chance you would be able to help us out?
We would give you an access code, and you could then help us
with the 'keywording' of the database.
It's not all hard work. It's fascinating to
see what a variety of work there is out there, under the broad
heading of 'artist / Ireland'.

here. Many thanks!
