Arts Council revenue decisions (26 January 2006)
The long-awaited decisions on revenue funding are currently (it's around 14:45) popping into inboxes around Ireland. Bit of a dull thud so far, as cost-of-living increases are being reported. Where's that 18.5% increase from government gone? Feedback here please.

the AC according to it's website increased revenue funding
from 44 to 51 million, a 16% increase, but it gave 31% of
this increase to the Abbey and 21% to traditional arts
leaving only 48% of the increase for the rest of us. this
works out at a total available increase in revenue funding,
if youre not the abbey or traditional, of only 7.6%
