What an interesting guy, and innovative artist. Any more info? Where is his work now?

As far as I know, Moscow Joe died a few years back, alas. Peter

Hi,

I remember seeing Moscow Joe's house and his exhibits on many visits to Carnlough. He would sometimes have fewer items out the front having been told to remove them by the council - his eye-catching work having gathered a small crowd and cars driving slowly by causing a traffic hold-up.

Sadly, he died about three years ago. I don't know what happened to his art work. It was dismantled and his house was taken down and replaced by a new one. I think that some people may have been glad that the clutter was gone and the road was tidied up. I, however, miss his house and his interesting collection of hubcaps, teapots, signs and assorted clutter.

I was glad to have stumbled across your page and feel that he did at least receive some recognition as an artist. It was great to see the pictures.

Alison
